Ball above feet

The golfer will tend to hit the ball target and/or chunk the shot
Aim rear, or open the face
Shorten grip
Make practice swings
Weight toward balls of feet

Ball below feet


The golfer will tend to hit the ball to the rear and/or either top or blade the shot
Aim target, or close the face
Sit deeper weight on heels
Make practice swings
Stay down

Uphill

The shot will travel high and/ or short. The golfer tends to pull the ball target and chunk the ball.
Aim rear
Take straighter-faced club
Lean into hill
Take practice swings
Follow terrain (slope)

Downhill –

The golfer will tend to push the shot to the rear and hit behind, skull or top the shot.
Aim target, or close the face
Position ball back
Sit more in knees
Follow the slope
